List of Top 10 Amazing Cricket Stadiums in the world - Best Cricket Ground in the World
A cricket field is a large, mostly elliptical or round grass field on which cricket is played. The use of artificial turf is rare. Rules about the shape and size of the field do not exist in the rules. Typically, a cricket field has a diameter of 450 to 500 feet (about 137 to 150 meters). As a perimeter, a rope lying on the ground is commonly used, called the Boundary Rope. The field boundary itself is called Boundary. The most essential part of the game takes place in the middle of the cricket pitch. This is a rectangular strip of solid clay soil with very short grass cover. It is 10 feet (3.05 meters) wide and 66 feet (20.12 meters) long. On the two narrow sides are the wickets. There are several lines on the pitch that are important for compliance with bowling (no ball) rules as well as some ways of batting the batsman.
