Byomkesh Bakshi

Byomkesh Bakshi is the Hindi TV serial based on the Byomkesh Bakshi character created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. Byomkesh Bakshi is a Bengali detective fiction created by Sharad Bandu Bandhyopadhyay. Its composition is inspired by the great literary detective Sherlock Holmes, composed by Arthur Conan Doyle.

Sharadindu ji wrote 32 stories of Byomkesh Bakshi between 1942 and 1970, but the 33rd story was incomplete due to untimely death. The first story of Byomkesh Bakshi is "Satyanvashi" (searching for truth) and the 32nd story is "Iron Biscuit".

In the first story of Byomkesh, Dr Anukul Babu appears as a villain. In this story, Byomkesh meets Ajit Kumar Banerji, who comes in the other story as the best friend of Byomkesh. Dr Anukul Babu again comes back as a villain in the 8th story.
