Winchester

Winchester is an American horror supernatural film of 2018 based on the paranormal facts of the Winchester mansion, directed by brothers Michael and Peter Spierig and written by the Spierig and Tom Vaughn. The film stars Helen Mirren (as Sarah Winchester), Jason Clarke and Sarah Snook. Being a co-production between the United States and Australia, the film was released in the United States on February 2, 2018 and in Australia on February 22, 2018. It received negative criticism from critics, who called it "boring" and "useless".

Story: The baby and husband (William Wirt Winchester) of Sarah Winchester, heiress of the Winchester rifle company, die suddenly. Because of this, she believes she is cursed by all the death caused by the rifles, so she goes to a medium, who advises her to build a house in San Jose, California, which should never be finished, so that returning spirits can not find it.

Production: In 2009, it was announced that a film would be made about the Winchester Mansion.
