Born in 570 AD in Mecca, Muhammad passed a childhood as an orphan. Muhammad grew up under the care of his grandfather Abdul Muthalib then his uncle Abu Talib. As a teenager grew up, Muhammad worked as a trader. Muhammad sometimes exiled to cave a hill until he spent the night pondering and praying. Narrated in the age of 40, Muhammad was visited by the Angel Gabriel and received the first revelation from Allah. Three years after the first revelation, Muhammad began to preach openly, states the oneness of Allah in the form of self-surrender through Islam as the true religion and abandon the god besides Allah. Muhammad received revelation gradually until his death. Practices of Muhammad narrated in the hadith, referred to by Muslims as a source of Islamic law with the Koran.
Muhammad with his early followers found various forms of resistance and torture from some of Mecca. Along the ongoing persecution, Muhammad confirmed some of his followers migrated to Ethiopia, before Muhammad began the hijrah mission to Medina in 622. The hijrah incident marked the beginning of the calendar Hijriah calendar in Islam. In Medina, Muhammad unites the tribes under the Medina Charter. After eight years of surviving the attacks of the Mecca tribes, Muhammad gathered 10,000 Muslims to surround Mecca. The attack did not get any meaningful resistance and Muhammad took over the city with a little bloodshed. He destroyed idols. In 632, a few months after returning to Medina after undergoing Haji Wada, Muhammad fell ill and died. Muhammad left the Arabian Peninsula which had been united in a single Islamic government and most had accepted Islam.
The scholars and authors of head agreed that Muhammad's birthday falls in the month of Rabiul Awal. Muhammad was born in Mecca, the southern city of the Arabian Peninsula, around 570, adjacent to the Elephant Year which was the year of the failure of the Mecca invasion by the mighty under Abrahah. The most famous opinion refers to the 12th Rabiul Awal as the day of Muhammad's birth. Based on the text of the hadith, Muhammad called Monday as his birth day. The author of the head Sulaiman Al-Manshurfuri and astronomer Mahmud Basya in their study tracked the Monday in question to coincide with the 9th of Rabiul Awal.
Muhammad originated from one of the tribes of the Quraysh tribe, the Banu Hashim who inherited the honorable lineage in Mecca, although it was not respected because of its wealth. His father, Abdullah died while Muhammad was still in the womb, six months before birth. Muhammad's baby was brought to live with a hamlet family in the interior, following the urban tradition at that time to strengthen the physical and prevent children from urban diseases. He was cared for and breastfed by Halimah bint Abi Dhuayb in the village of Bani Saad for two years. After that, little Muhammad was returned to be taken care of by Ummu Aiman's slave. At the age of 6, Muhammad lost his mother, Aminah because of illness. During the following two years, Muhammad's needs were borne and fulfilled by his grandfather from his father's family, 'Abd al-Muttalib. When he was eight years old, his grandfather died and Muhammad was subsequently cared for by his uncle Abu Talib who appeared as a leader of the Banu Hashim after the death of Abdul Muttalib.
